We are now well and truly into Spring and that means Summer is just around the corner. I don’t know about anyone else but I have definitely put on a few kilos over the winter period and desperately need to start shedding these before we are in beach season (I am one to wait for extremely hot weather before venturing to the white sands).
One thing you should know about me, I am really good at planning, writing checklists and buying special food/clothes to get motivated to lose weight and increase my general well-being however I am notoriously bad at putting these into practice! I have set up a board on my favourite site,Pintrest, which is filled with little workouts and healthy food options that are sure to stimulate weight loss and increase energy levels should they be followed.
After flossing the life out of my poor gums at lunch today due to an article I read online regarding tips to losing weight, I felt that I needed something a little less radical and a little more sensible. I have for that reason enlisted the help of Lauren Conrad or ‘LC’ to her friends. LC has explained to me how to shape up and be the best I can be via her blog and as a result ensure that I am Summer ready this year. I have decided to start with the 7 Days to Skinny Jeans plan followed by her Bikini Boot Camp. Partly because I am a fan of any fad and partly because I figure if it works for her, it’s got to work for me right? We’ll soon find out as I am starting tomorrow with her Skinny Jeans plan.
